The wedding day began on the shores of Lake Garda at Hotel Spiaggia d’Oro in Salò, before continuing by boat towards Isola del Garda, one of the most distinctive wedding venues on Lake Garda.
The historic villa, its gardens and terraces overlooking the water, together with the arrival of the guests by boat, created the setting for a wedding that was experienced naturally, without turning every moment into a photograph.

My approach starts from a very simple idea: the wedding should never be organised around the photographer.
I don’t direct the day in order to create photographs and I don’t turn a wedding into a long photo shoot. I work as a documentary wedding photographer, observing what really happens and allowing the couple and their guests to experience the day without constant instructions or staged situations.
Even the short time I spend alone with the couple remains part of the story. No rigid poses, no endless portrait session and, most importantly, no disappearing from the wedding for hours just to create photographs.
